SwitchPod Launches on Kickstarter in 6 Days
Next Tuesday, January 29th at 9am Pacific, SwitchPod is launching on Kickstarter.
It’s been over a year since we first had the idea for creating a tripod for vloggers and all I can say is: What. A. Ride. (And we’re just getting started.)
It feels crazy to say that when we’re over a year in. But it’s true. It feels like we have been training for a marathon and know that the race still hasn't even begun. This thing doesn’t start and can’t start without you.
We need to raise funds to create more SwitchPods.
We’re in the final push leading up to launch by spending hours in the studio to take photos and video for the campaign. Who really needs to go outside? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This month has been filled with SO MANY meetings, phone calls, and Slack messages with our in-house team, engineers, and fellow creators that want to help support the campaign.
We’ve learned a lot along the way about product photography (gotta get that light to hit the legs of the SwitchPod juuuuust right), the manufacturing process (a trip to China is in the works), and researching how successful Kickstarter campaigns are launched.
It’s been VERY inspiring to see the excitement, positive comments, and reactions from you as we tease pieces of what we’re up to on Instagram.
We’re working hard to get a SwitchPod in your hands as soon as possible later this year.
Okay. I'll keep this short for now, but just so that we’re allllllll in the know. Here’s where we’re at. We’re doing this thing. In 6 days.
