Affiliate Disclaimer

Hey, Caleb here.

On this site are products and links to those products in which I will earn an affiliate commission for any purchases you make.

Given this, you should assume that any links leading you to products or services are affiliate links that I will receive compensation from.

You won't find spam links or links I've sold directly. It isn't like that. Links to affiliate places, like Amazon or B&H Photo Video, are only used when I recommend a product or a service. (And I use most, if not all of the gear I recommend on this site as well as leave off gear I use and don't like.)

I only promote those products or services that I have investigated and truly feel deliver value to you.

This site is also a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

Please note, that sometimes I have given free products, services, or anything else by these companies in exchange for open and honest reviews on the site. The only consideration is in the form of affiliate commissions.

If you have any questions regarding the above, please do not hesitate to contact me by using the contact page

FAQ

Do you get paid for reviews?

I do not and never will accept payment for reviews. The only indirect compensation is through affiliate links when clicked by readers like you.

Do you get to keep the gear you review?

Most often not. Almost everything you see reviewed on this site is from B&H and we have 30 days to review the gear and then we have to ship it back. However, smaller outfits often send gear in  and don’t want it back because of shipping and fees. When this happens, we either run a giveaway on the site, or we disclose that information in the post.

Heck, a lot of the time I even beg for or spend my own money to rent gear just to do a review of it (like I did for the C200).

How did you get your cameras and lenses?

Every camera and lens I own I bought.
